When life looks stable, but feels overwhelming

On the outside, you're meeting your deadlines, maintaining your relationships, and hitting your milestones, but internally, the effort required to keep pace with these expectations is becoming harder to sustain. Therapy can be a space to explore...

  • The Transitional Years: The specific pressures of navigating early career or university, and the evolving responsibilities of your 20's, or the many changes your teen faces as they navigate their high school years and the post-graduation "what comes next"

  • The Internal/External Gap: When goals are being met, but it's coming at the cost of persistent anxiety or mental exhaustion.

  • Decision Fatigue: Struggling to quiet the internal noise or trust your own intuition when navigating those "what comes next" questions.

You don’t need to wait for a crisis to seek support.

Therapy can be a proactive space to slow down and recalibrate.

If this sounds like the kind of support you’re looking for a consultation is a simple place to start:

A Relational Approach

Hi, I'm Reagan,

A therapist and Registered Social Worker (BSW, MSW, RSW) based in Toronto. I provide virtual therapy for individuals aged 16-30 in Ontario, and limited in-person services in Toronto's East End.

With me, therapy is a collaborative space where we can identify the patterns keeping you stuck and develop practical ways to move forward. My work is active and conversational - less about passive listening, and more about working together to identify and establish goals, and move towards them.

How Therapy Can Help

Therapy isn’t about being fixed or given answers.

It’s a collaborative process of understanding what’s happening beneath the surface and developing tools that support meaningful change in everyday life. In therapy, the work often includes:

  • Noticing patterns that contribute to anxiety or feeling stuck

  • Building emotional awareness and regulation skills

  • Developing practical strategies that can be used outside of sessions

  • Creating space for clearer, values-aligned decision-making

My approach draws predominantly from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and a relational, strengths-based framework. Sessions are paced collaboratively and shaped around what feels most useful to the person in the room.

Why Upwell?

The name Upwell is inspired by the ocean's natural process of upwelling- where deeper waters rise to the surface, carrying nutrients that support renewal and growth.

I believe this reflects what often happens in therapy: The process of thoughts, emotions, and patterns coming to the surface, and creating space for clarity, connection, and meaningful change.

It's also a nod to my Nova Scotia roots and love for the ocean.
