At Upwell Therapy, my mission is to offer meaningful therapeutic support that emphasizes resilience, clarity, and personal growth. Each session is grounded in evidence-based practices and tailored specifically to meet the unique needs of clients. My goal, is to support you in reaching your goals.
My approach to practice strikes a balance of supportive and goal-focused. I value an approach that is professional and clinically informed, but relational in nature.
Whether in-person or online, therapy with me is warm, practical, and grounded in evidence-based approaches. I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), emotion-focused strategies, and strength-based techniques to create a thoughtful and compassionate space where clients can build resilience, feel more capable, and move toward meaningful change.
My approach is grounded in evidence-based practice and shaped by my experience working with adolescents, young adults, and families in both clinical and community settings.
I have additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), emotion-focused work, and parenting support models, and I integrate these with a strengths-based and relational lens.
Located in Toronto's East End, I provide therapy to teenagers and adults (ages 13–30) navigating anxiety, stress, emotional regulation, relationship dynamics, school transitions, and early career exploration.
I work with a small number of children (ages 7–12), focusing on building emotional awareness, managing anxiety, and supporting the development of healthy regulation skills.

The name Upwell is inspired by the ocean's natural process of upwelling- where deeper waters rise to the surface, carrying nutrients that support renewal and growth.
I believe this reflects what often happens in therapy: the process of thoughts, emotions, and patterns coming to the surface, and creating space for clarity, connection, and meaningful change.
The name just so happens to be a nod to my Nova Scotian roots and love for the Atlantic Ocean too!
Conveniently located in Toronto's East End near Danforth and Coxwell.
